No More Shoes

This isn't going to increase my quotient with the feminist crowd out there, but I always felt Wanda was more interesting when she was a simple caster of hexes, ( three or so per hour ) which made her simpler to understand, more relatable to young female fans, and not ludicrously overpowerful, as when, in Giant-Size Avengers#2, she cast a spell which, quite literally, yanked a meteor down from space!!! ( just go home, Thor and Iron Man! ) One well-cast hex from Wanda's lovely wrist could totally shut down Iron Man or Dr. Doom's armor, transform Thor into Dr. Blake, snuff out the Human Torch, or cause the Angel to spontaneously moult, etc., etc., etc.,! Like they tell us in the military, Keep It Simple, Stupid!! Exactly! Excelsior!! ( P.S. : Who, exactly, are Wanda and Pietro's parents supposed to be at this particular moment in time?? )
